We woke up early and had a great breakfast in Monaco then hopped on a bus for an excursion into Nice.

We stopped at an amazing overlook where we could see Nice, pretty great coastline!

we did a great walking tour
saw this little cat
found this great gelato stand, but it was still very early...
then took the lift up to the top
for another great view!
then went back for GELATO!!
mmmmmm...I love love love it!
it was also the day of the farmer's market, just a few olives
some of the biggest tomatoes I have ever seen
along with the reddest strawberries
some fancy treats
and my mom's favorites
the other half of the market was the flower market, these were BEAUTIFUL!
then back to the beach to catch the bus again
but stopped for a quick pic of the town carousel
goodbye Nice
after a long bus ride from Monaco, we arrived to our ship
and had a great welcome reception
then set sail down the Rhone
