We enjoyed an amazing fall day up in Estes Park to celebrate my birthday with my parents and Cohen. We went into Rocky Mountain National Park to check out the colors and look for some elk. We lucked out that the Aspens were really starting to change so it was beautiful.
Cohen enjoying the beaver ponds
here are some of the aspens
and more of a full view
grandpa and grandma time is always great
we drove to the top of trail ridge road, the views were amazing
and we saw a ton of elk!
we spent a lot of time watching these 4 down below as they tried to move in on another group and would be chased away
we went for a mini hike across the way, but Cohen was not feeling well from the car ride up the hill and was tired so it didn't last long
We had bought tickets to a rockies game for Isaac's 2nd birthday but the actual game day got rained out so we postponed and got tickets to this game instead. The boys had lots of fun and it was a gorgeous night for a game. We made it through much more of the game than we thought we would. Cohen loved every time someone was up to bat and they played their music...he would dance along.
Cohen loves soccer. A lot comes from lots of soccer viewing with dad and a lot comes from his coach at his school. He is coachkyle (all one word to Cohen). Apparently when Kyle comes to Cohen's classroom he hops out of his chair and takes off to go play soccer.
Laurie grew up mainly in Colorado (4th grade on) then started college in Boulder and transferred to New Hampshire. After finishing school I moved to Boston to teach... and that's where I met Sam. Sam grew up just outside of Green Bay Wisconsin and went to college in Colorado. He luckily got his first job in Boston and the rest is history. We got married while in Boston then moved to LA. We are now back in Colorado and loving life! We have been lucky to make great friends along the way and have some amazing experiences!! But the best thing that has happened to us is our little boy, Cohen.
