In the interest of actually getting these photos up eventually I have broken down the days. We left for Hawaii on May 7th...here is DAY 1!

we had 3 1/2 hours to kill in LA so we watched planes for a LONG time!
then we ran and ran and ran trying to tire him out for the plane
which worked because he slept for a good part of the trip!
then he woke up and was SO excited about the bagel I had waiting for him
and dove right in
then we were finally landing in Kauai
rainy/cloudy Kauai :(
but by the time we got to our hotel it was at least a little sunny out again, Cohen is checking out the little deck we had attached to our room
ready to go in his Hawaiian shirt
time for a fun trip with mom and dad!!
we checked out the fish in the pond on our way to dinner
he and sam checked out the beach while waiting for dinner
he was so excited about the sand, even if it was all wet!
and then he CRASHED...quite a day!
