Day 4- Grand Cayman

Our fourth day on the cruise we docked in Grand Cayman. I had booked a trip to the turtle farm for the 3 of us.
They raise hundreds of sea turtles at the farm getting some good use of the new sun hat
meeting the first turtle...4 months old
Cohen REALLY wanted to pet the turtle...but his petting isn't too gentle so we were very careful with him
here are the babies swimming
Cohen and daddy checking out the babies
and now an 8 month old one
the heat was rough...the first time Cohen had ever been this hot so we made sure to keep pumping him full of liquids
and here are the 18 month old ones...this is when they release them into the wild

this guy was pretty heavy
but Cohen wanted to touch him too
then it was time for his first trip into a pool...
he LOVED it! The splashing was crazy!

then Cohen and I got some swim time
This is one of our favorite things he does...when he is excited he sticks both fists way in the air...Sam was pretty proud to catch this one on camera!
They had a shark lagoon and a snorkeling area as well
Sam with his Caybrew

Cohen taking a nap after a hot and busy morning!
the breeze blowing his little hairs
Sam and Cohen hanging in the shade...their favorite place to be
view of the snorkeling area
more palms for Bri
and one more
the ocean blues are so amazing and I loved this white bird on the gray rocks
then the bird took off
when Cohen woke up he was really hungry
then it was time to head back to the ship
a bath and a new outfit and we are off for a walk around the deck
Cohen is showing off his Easter gift from grandma and grandpa Russell...go Sox!
he hung out with us while we got some sushi
I found this amusing...I looked over the balcony of where we were eating to the set time dining area (which was on its early dinner time) and this would be the average age of everyone else eating at the same time we were.
Cohen had all kinds of fans...mostly other grandparents missing their grandkids
then time for his nightly towel animal
These flowers are for Arlyss...I knew you'd appreciate them:
And some lizards:
