France Trip- day 1 Monaco

I had the unfortunate task of "testing" out a trip for my work. That means Sam and I were off to France, however our first day was in Monaco.

 We got in too early to check into our hotel so we put our stuff down and decided to walk around and check out the area. We found some great gardens.

 If you look closely you can see the helicopter just to the left of the buildings, there was a private landing pad on one of the buildings...did I mention we were in Monaco?!

 This photo is for grandpa and Cohen. A guy was flying this contraption all over the cathedral taking pictures. We knew Cohen would go nuts based on how much he loves grandpa's helicopters.

 We had a little welcome reception then went for a cocktail...mine was very fun.

 dinner is served late, well at least late when you are on US time just trying to stay awake, so we decided to do some more walking around town before we went to dinner at a reasonable time, which was at the very front end of reasonable...

 after our dinner we went to see the Casino lit up at night

 it is definitely pretty amazing!

 We brought one of Cohen's salamanders on the trip with us and took pictures of him different places we were and sent them to him, here was the first of many.

Good night Monaco, you are quite amazing!

32 Months with Frog Guy

32 months is such a long time...this little guy is now 32 months old! Here he is with his frog guy who seems smaller and smaller these days.

Cohen loves school, his teachers (Miss Alison, Miss Heather and Miss Mary) and this month marks the return of coachkyle which is amazing!

He likes to watch soccer with Sam but has been watching more cycling lately. He talks about his bike for the summer, we use the big boy bike as a carrot for getting him going on his bike.

He has quite the little personality now and talks our ears off. He is very funny. We hear ourselves in him many times which is also very funny.

We love date nights, and family nights and look forward to later nights being able to stay up and play even  more.

I realized as I got to Cohen's spring school pictures that I never shared the GEMS from this past fall. So before I start with the current school pictures I thought I would backtrack to October.

 and then there is this one?!!!??? I was laughing so hard when I saw it and could not wait to show Sam when he got home. The kid has never put a hand in his pocket in his life! So funny.

Here is his class from the fall, Miss Shauntah had to leave shortly after this which was tough because Cohen was very attached to her, however he quickly fell in love with his 3 remaining teachers.

Now we flash forward to spring, which I was out of town for and as you can see Sam dressed him in the SAME shirt from the fall. Pretty funny.

Easter fun at school

Cohen had an Easter party in his classroom that I was able to attend, and it was good I did beacuse he was FREAKED OUT by the Easter Bunny!

Mountain Time

I am officially in April in my blog posts, wooo hooo (granted it may actually be mid-June, but progress is progress!)

 we went for a fun weekend in the mountains with friends, we all got in late the night before so the kiddos were excited to see each other when they woke up

 and even more excited to see that the train goes by RIGHT behind the house!
