Santa Express

I got a deal online for the Santa Express figuring our train loving little guy would love it...and I was RIGHT!
he was excited even seeing the tracks getting out of the car
then he heard the first train whistle
so we moved to higher ground for a better view
 here it comes
 hello train!
 goodbye train, see you soon
grandma and grandpa joined us for this fun adventure
checking out the tracks with grandma
the loop we did has been around for quite a while

here we are at the station
the river by the station was partially frozen
 here comes the train!
one very exicted little boy, but this one was not our train they were running quite a bit behind
so we had to watch it go and wait for our turn
 and sometimes waiting is hard
 very hard!
but finally it was our turn to board, tickets in hand we waited in line
 then climbed onto the train
and found a table

there were a few fake little towns full of lights along the way

then the conductor was coming through to punch our tickets
 which is VERY exciting
 lots of punches
and a great photo
 tickets are all punched now
and guess who is coming now?!
 a nervous little wave
and SANTA arrives! he gave Cohen a bell
 which he thought was great
Cohen was not scared of this Santa...maybe it is the real beard?
 cheese
 checking out the bell
then he and grandma drew on the fogged up windows

Lil' Kickers Photo Shoot

We signed Cohen up for an indoor soccer group since there is no coachkyle during the winter months.
he's so cute in his little uni so we decided to take some pictures in front of the goal we have set up in the basement

Art

Since I know there is no way I can keep all of Cohen's art, I started taking pictures of them before I throw them away. We hang them up our hallway to the basement for a while then swap them out for new ones. These are the ones I had just taken down.

Reading Time

Cohen LOVES to read, so we do lots of books each night

we usually do some with dad and some with mom, this one he was reading to dad

Cohen's Room

Cohen got his own little Christmas tree in his room along with a nativity from grandma and grandpa Troge so we set it all up on his new dresser, he was very proud of it.
I realized it had been a while since I took pictures of his room so decided to do the 360 view...

his new sign...thanks to the idea from Pinterest

Our family map that shows everywhere we have gone alone and together.

potty time

Cohen started showing some interest in potty training so we started reading No More Diapers for Ducky who reads when on the potty...
so Cohen decided he needed to read while on the potty

and thought it was so silly!
