I got a deal online for the Santa Express figuring our train loving little guy would love it...and I was RIGHT!
he was excited even seeing the tracks getting out of the car
then he heard the first train whistle
so we moved to higher ground for a better view
here it comes
hello train!
goodbye train, see you soon
grandma and grandpa joined us for this fun adventure
checking out the tracks with grandma
the loop we did has been around for quite a while
here we are at the station
the river by the station was partially frozen
here comes the train!
one very exicted little boy, but this one was not our train they were running quite a bit behind
so we had to watch it go and wait for our turn
and sometimes waiting is hard
very hard!
but finally it was our turn to board, tickets in hand we waited in line
then climbed onto the train
and found a table
there were a few fake little towns full of lights along the way
then the conductor was coming through to punch our tickets
which is VERY exciting
lots of punches
and a great photo
tickets are all punched now
and guess who is coming now?!
a nervous little wave
and SANTA arrives! he gave Cohen a bell
which he thought was great
Cohen was not scared of this Santa...maybe it is the real beard?
cheese
checking out the bell
then he and grandma drew on the fogged up windows
