TWO YEARS OLD!!!

Cohen turned TWO on August 14th...it is so hard to believe our little man is already two!

 we both went in to wake him up

 putting some change in his bank...one of his favorite activities

 such a cool little 2 year old!

 we stopped for a bagel on our way to the race

 we met grandpa...

 and grandma at the park for our races

 first it was the 5k that I ran with Brittni and Brooke

 and we're off...

 high fives for mom

someone got a cowbell to ring...

 and ring and ring and ring

 snacking on a banana before his big race

 a little stretching

 checking out the starting line

 and he's off running fast fast fast (which involves lots of arm movement)

 crossing the finish line of his first race!

 his own race medal! (really Hudson's because they ran out and had to mail ours but H was nice to share for a picture!)

 first race boys...many more to come!

 we then did the pool with grandma and grandpa and then came home for some presents

 he got a new backpack

 and a book about school since he is starting the next day!

 he took off in his backpack

 I have a feeling this one will resurface someday!

 it was small group night so we were able to celebrate with friends

 and had an angel food cake with berries

 the big 2!! 

 yummy!

 then mom and dad played trains with the birthday boy for a perfect ending to a great day

a little birthday jam to end the day!
