My friend Jen was coming to visit from LA so we decided she needed a little welcome sign in her room

City Park Fun

I had to go to City Park to pick up a race packet so we decided to do some playing at the park as well

 then he decided he wanted to try out the fountains so he stripped down and headed in

 timidly...

it was a great way to end a hot day!

Last day of EP1

Cohen has loved school this year and these three ladies are why

 his miss Mary, miss Alison and miss Heather

 he is going to miss them so much, but we are so lucky to have had them teach him this past year

 here is the little guy on his last day of EP1, off to EP2 he goes!

Bander

Since Scott's show Cohen now likes to put on shows with his "bander" (or band...not sure where it picked up the er but now we know bander is his band). Of course there is a LOT of drumming involved just like "uncle cottie".

It has been such a crazy hot summer that even at night it is still hot enough to play in the sprinkler, here is Cohen doing just that.

My friend Jill bought these flip flops for Cohen when he was little and now they fit so we took a pic to send to Jilly and it was pretty darn cute so I thought I'd post it here too.

I had a work event tonight and when I came out after the event I had this amazing view. Pretty great looking city!

Dude's Party

We celebrated Scott's graduation at a party at my parent's house

 he and Cohen had fun looking for bugs

 it was also the night of the partial eclipse, you can see it in these two photos to the left

Colfax marathon relay

I ran the Colfax marathon relay with a work team this year and had a blast doing it.

Cohen and Sam came to cheer but were only able to see me once along the course because of all of the streets that were blocked off. We met up again at the finish. Here I am with my little cheerleader in a photo taken by Sam who doesn't know how to use the iPhone. :)

Cold River City

Scott's new band Cold River City played an early gig downtown, good for us, not as fun for the band playing early. Cohen was so excited to go to Scottie's show.

Just mocking me...

This bird keeps coming to my window at work and making the worst noises then just looks at me and does it again. So loud. So annoying!

33 months with frog guy

33 months with his frog, I love these pictures and love to look back at previous ones. Maybe for his 3rd birthday I'll do a whole strip of them.

Cohen is very active, loves school, loves soccer and still loves loves loves his trains. He talks a ton. This past month we told him he was getting so big he needed to watch his head so he didn't hit it on the sink and he said, "pretty soon mommy, I will be hitting the ceiling I am getting so so big." Yes, buddy, you are getting so so big!

Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day up in Loveland

 I sure love this little boy, what a great Mother's day kiss..

 due to the amount of watermelon I ate while pregnant with Cohen we are pretty sure he is about half watermelon and now loves it as much as I do

 and is not stopped by it dripping down his belly

 on our way out of town we saw some elk in the field by my parent's house
