First Ski Weekend

Cohen has been waiting for this weekend since he turned 3. We told him he could learn to ski when he turned 3 and he would have been skiing in August if he could.

 he was so excited to try on all of his stuff

we played a few games then went to bed early for the big day

 after an amazing sunset

 dressed and ready to hit the road

 now ready to hit the slopes, the gondola ride up is pretty fun!

 he caught on pretty quickly and loved it

 time for some snacks, it will be years before true apres ski but snacks it is for now

 one tired little guy, didn't even make it out of Breck before he was asleep

 we went out to celebrate the first ski day

 then were back at it the next morning

 day 2 and we hit the big lifts

It was a great weekend ending with another amazing sunset! Gotta love Colorado!

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving up in Loveland with the Russell crew.

 Lin's dog Dank loves to sit and watch the skink just wishing he could get to him

 grandma and grandpa just redid the carpet in their office so everything was moved out of the office and the closets which Cohen thought was great because it provided a fun place to hide

Bagel Breakfast

we love our morning bagel breakfasts where we chit chat before school starts, it is such a great way to start the day

My poor car got hit on the way into work one day by someone who didn't stop at a stop sign. Thankfully everyone was ok, but I was out a car for a few weeks.

We then even had time to spend some good time at the park across the street...YIPEE!

We got a beautiful weekend day so took advantage of it and took a walk

then got started on the Christmas lights

We love the zoo...which has been well documented, but one of our new favorite things is making it to the zoo for the elephant show. This day happened to be inside and they were giving Bodi a bath. Cohen thought it was so great to get to see this.

 Sam and Cohen watched as he made his way through the bushes

 then had some fun on the ride on toys

39 months with frog guy

such a big boy now!

Cohen has started making jokes (which to him are very funny so I think we may have a while of this)

he still loves hugs/kisses/snuggles which I am so thankful for and will take as long as possible

he loves all of his guys (cat and frog and kitty and spot...)

he has friends he tells us about at school and is really starting to learn a lot

most of all he is one sweet little boy that we are so thankful for!
