zoo time

We love the zoo, it is by far our most utilized pass.

 we kicked off the day with the bears

 Cohen likes to talk to them while we watch them

 we then were very lucky to get to see the new baby tapir on his first day out in public

 it is crazy that they are born with the stripes horizontal compared to what they end up with

 so cute!

 then an elephant show

 we then ran into the cornells and it was so silly to see friends at the zoo

 and really fun to ride the rides with them

Cohen made this cute little headband at school, so of course we had to try it on and take some pictures...

Cohen and I like to go for bagels once a week

 we sit and eat bagels and chat before school

38 months of this little guy...

 Cohen LOVES crazy hair day.

38 great months, they have gone by so fast and we are amazed each and every day by this little guy and all he is learning. He still has such a sweet personality, loves to hug and give kisses. Asks us how our days were and has started to like to watch movies, but doesn't like anything where someone is being mean or something sad is happening. Such a great little heart.

Cohen loves to paint so I decided instead of carving we would paint some pumpkins this year.

We ended the day with a new haircut, probably his best one yet!

school performance

Cohen had a cute school performance afternoon, unfortunately I cannot find the video from the performance...I will have to keep looking but here is a quick pic.

fun night in Vail

I was doing a site visit for our board retreat so we got to stay up in Vail at one of the prospect properties for free.

 they had this waiting on one of the beds for Cohen

 he was very excited to try out the slippers

 and the robe

 ready to rock the pool

 he loved running along the hallways on his way to the pool

 our lineup of slippers

 and a view of the pool (which we actually only went in for a minute and spent the rest of the time in the kid friendly hot tub)

 we went out for some ice cream after a fun dinner

 then back to the hotel to hang out

 and these guys were waiting for us

 Cohen then wanted to take a bath in the big fancy tub

 so we put in a lot of bubbles and he had a blast

we then played some games and read some stories before bed, it was a fun night away.

Meeting baby Allyson

Our old nanny Meri had her little girl Allyson and after waves of sickness passed through our house we finally got to go meet her.

 Cohen was so excited to hold her

First Snow

Cohen was really excited to wake up to some snow for the first time of the year.

We went over to the park by our house to feed the fish, Sam caught a few in Cohen's net and was QUITE proud of himself! We watched them for a bit them put them back with their friends.
