Mountain Time

I am officially in April in my blog posts, wooo hooo (granted it may actually be mid-June, but progress is progress!)

 we went for a fun weekend in the mountains with friends, we all got in late the night before so the kiddos were excited to see each other when they woke up

 and even more excited to see that the train goes by RIGHT behind the house!

 then came back and watched trains again

 the house also had a cuckoo clock that the boys would sit and wait for

 they would wait and wait then go nuts when it went off

 On the way out we decided to hit the park to play a little bit before the drive back...check out Cohen's shirt, donated to Brittni by a neighbor. UNH!

New Shades

we rode the light rail all the way down to the mall the night before and picked up some sweet new shades, Cohen wanted to wear them to school the next day so I snapped a few pics to send to Sam

Sam was out of town for work so for a fun night Cohen and I rode the light rail. He thought it was amazing. The college girls sitting next to us were cracking up at how excited he got and how exciting it was so see another light rail passing your light rail.

On the way home the REAL train was right next to our light rail and we got to sit and watch it at the station for a bit.

mom and Cohen date night

if you ask Cohen what he wants to do for date night if it is with mom he says go get frozen yogurt, if it is boy's night out he says go get pizza, so what it really comed down to is that our child associates date nights and boy's night out with food...

 and he may be right because it is not too hard to convince mom to get frozen yogurt, just like it is not hard to convince dad to get pizza

and when getting frozen yogurt at one of the yogurt shops you usually need to go to the "cat store" as well (which is Petsmart) to see the cats and say hi to all of them...oh the little things in life, if only these little things could make us all this happy...wait a minute...frozen yogurt DOES make me this happy!

Easter Decorating

This year we decided to hang some eggs in our bushes, Cohen had a blast decorating them and deciding which bushes needed more. There were definitely a few that were slightly more loaded down, but they looked great.

and for my decorating I made this centerpiece that was a combo of two different ones I saw on good old Pinterest
