Labor Day...final day

Cohen woke up at the crack of dawn again on the 4th day of our trip and this morning I brought my camera for some early morning shots.

daddy joined us at the end of our walk so we got a good shadown pic

Each group trip we do we try to get the boys matching shirts or something to take pics...here are our attempts...it is getting much more difficult now that they are older!

before we left we headed to the bus stop so we could ride a "city bus OHHHH city busy" up the hill to go for one last hike
the boys were so excited waiting for the bus

Cohen had ridden the bus a few weeks before with grandma and grandpa Troge and talked about riding the city bus every time he saw one back down in Denver...needless to say it was quite exciting!
needless to say it was quite exciting...as you can see here!
the Fudges on the bus
us
Isaac
Eli and yet another amazing face...love this kid!
Jesse, Sparrow and Jesse's mom
the boys waiting while we bought lift tickets reading the one travel brochure we let them pick from the display
chair lift time...Fudges ahead
Cornells and Hellands behind

and a shot of us from Brittni's camera...later in the car on the way home from Crested Butte Cohen was telling grandpa all about the fork lift and we could not figure out what he meant...then we realized he was calling the chairlift a forklift!
quite a view!
time to hike
and hug

the top part was pretty steep for the kids but they had fun
you have to look very closely but there is a little friend under this rock
Isaac somehow got dirt all over his face
the boys fed a little squirrel with some help from Jesse's mom

Cohen thought it was amazing!
This little guy's cheeks were STUFFED by the end
Cohen on the top...on the way up Sam told him that we would have snacks when we got on top and he just looked at Sam and said "sounds good"

and here are those snacks
and one very bold squirrel trying to find his own snacks
the group on top (minus Gubsers and Orsborns who had to head home early)

after we had some lunch we hit the road to head home...some great views on this drive for sure!

Cohen sang and talked and called grandpa for his birthday and sang "twinkle twinkle little star" for about 10 minutes straight to him...so funny!
