Broomball

Another year, another broomball match at Southwest skating rink downtown. It is so fun to play outside under the lights in the heart of downtown. It is such a silly game (one that will leave you with bruises and very sore for weeks) but those bruises sure are funny as you watch people fall down left and right!

Dance Party

Cohen and some friends love dancing, and were cracking up dancing all over our living room.

Stock Show again...

Ok just kidding...one more pass a the stock show with grandma and grandpa and uncle David

 he may have had the stick horse race a little backward

 but was so excited for his little ribbon

 he tried on some other hats

 and we went out to check out the stockyards

 it is quite a big complex

 Cohen had fun checking it all out

 then he was off with grandma

 until he stopped to pose, these are two of my favorites!

 so cute!

sand park fun

we took advantage of the strangely mild January weather and played at the sand park with friends. It is funny to watch them play because there is still a lot of solo play with all of them there together.

Resolve 5k

I resolve to get my friend Bri to run more...so we started with the Resolve 5k and had a gorgeous day for it. Bri, a self proclaimed non-runner, made it two miles before taking a quick walking break. She did awesome!

zoo afternoon

I got off of work a little early since it was a long day and grabbed Cohen to head to the zoo, we went in Tropical Discovery which we had not been in for a long time.

but wasn't so sure about this guy, granted he did get closer than most kids that were there but still a little skeptical

Cold River City at the FOX

My brother's band played at the Fox in Boulder so I went to check it out. Fun for him to do since he interned here in college!

Goat Ropin'

The other big part of the stock show is the goat roping night that is a fundraiser for the junior livestock auction.
