Valentine Packages

I just loaded some videos and realized I missed this one with Valentine's Day...I had to break it up into 4 so it would post on the blog. Here is Cohen opening his Valentine package from grandma and grandpa Troge. (You'll need to turn the music off on the right hand side of the blog to hear him)

Children's Museum

We love our Children's Museum pass but it is usually a little harder to capture pictures there since Cohen runs all over the place so excited to be there!

It wasn't long ago that he could barely crawl up this part, now he runs around and slides down!

TWO!!!

Brittni was getting rid of Griffin's Cat in the Hat and asked if we wanted a back up...

Cohen woke up the next morning and came downstairs with his one cat...saw the other and yelled TWO! Can you even believe there are two cats in the world!! AMAZING! Since then we have hidden one at all times so we will have a back up if anything happens to the beloved Cat in the Hat (which Sam still finds quite creepy!)

Food with Friends

We had a fun Sunday afternoon hanging out with some friends...the boys had fun eating together...

Sam is showing Cohen how the big boys eat

then he tries himself (on his knees mind you...)

mmmm mac n cheese!

it makes you thirsty

cheers

Cohen loves watching the older boys

Isaac after some more noodles

Cohen gave up on the spoon...too much work

but seeing the older boys decided to try again

g-man on his THIRD bowl!

Boo!

We were laughing so hard at Cohen's game of peek a boo we had to get it on video...

Bath time fun

Cohen LOVES bath time and all of his bath toys...as you can see in these pictures

he also loves to wash his own toes, so funny
and then he always attempts to stick the wash cloth in his mouth since he knows he will get a reaction from us
stinker!
here is bath time at grandma and grandpa's in the full tub...he was a little scared
but he did have some fun blue water!

Buuusssssssssss

Cohen gets so excited every time he sees a bus so it was pretty great when we went for our morning walk and one was parked in the park parking lot (that was a lot of parks in a row...)
he yells buuuuuuuuusss
then looks to make sure I know how amazing this is

here is a video of him as the bus pulls out

Valentine's Day Cookies!

Brittni organized a Valentine cookie day for the boys.
Cohen had fun patting the dough
Griffin had all of the boys laughing...he's the expert
then it was play time while cookies baked (notice the amount of flour on Cohen!)
then it was time to decorate...here is Griffin with the white
Cohen thought it was GREAT to sqeeze the bag all over
then shake shake shake the sprinkles
Isaac enjoyed the sprinkles too
Bri "decorated" a cookie too...I laughed
then she laughed at my cookie :)
then the best part...eating the cookies...which as you can see Isaac dove right in
face first!
Cohen took a few small bites but is still not a big fan of sugar so didn't eat much (but I love the red frosting lips!)
Griffin enjoyed his as well
here we all are (minus Bri taking the picture) with our cookies
then we attempted a group photo
which is getting harder and harder
but we still try
until one of them melts down (this time it was Cohen)
-
Sam and I were able to go out to dinner for Valentine's Day while Fudge stayed with Cohen. It was a good night out and I can't believe I don't even have one picture of us!

18 months with frog!

On Valentine's Day our little one turned 18 months old! It is crazy to believe he is already half way into his second year!
We took our standard monthly picture with frog guy
-
And also went to the doc where we found that Cohen is still small (height 31", weight 21lb 10oz) but developing very well
-
this month has brought a lot of words our favorites are yes (which sounds like yeshhhhhhh) and spicy (which sounds like schpicies)
Cohen loves tractors STILL and can't get enough of them
he is still an easy going little guy but now has a bit of a stubborn streak (thanks mom) and gets angry quickly with some things (thanks dad)
we have been trying all kinds of new foods with pickles and big boy cereal being two of his favorites
he enjoys saturday morning soccer and cereal with daddy and morning walks with mommy
-
Here are a few other cute pics from the morning photoshoot
such a little boy now!!
