Cohen now gets VERY excited as we approach the town center on Sundays yelling Biscuit BUUUUUUSSSSS!!

Mom, dad and I went to see my brother's band Ghost Town Bandulu perform. It was a great show, their music is a lot of fun!

Sleepy Time

When I went in to check on Cohen during nap time this is what I found...pretty funny nap with guys!

Fun on the 15th

We all LOVE the weekends and the time we get to spend together. We usually spend some time in the mornings just playing at home. Cohen was helping me clean up our room (well he was in the room while I was cleaning) and he fond some earphones. He knew exactly what to do with them, so funny!

8 YEARS!

The same day our little hero was 22 months old was our 8 year anniversary.

My parents had come down the weekend prior to our anniversary and Sam planned a fun date day/night for us. We went and had apps and drinks then saw a movie, then went to the bar way up in the Hyatt, then went to a fancy dinner at a cool little place we'd been wanting to try. It was a great date day/night!
It is pretty crazy it has already been 8 years...but when I think of all we've seen/done, all the places we've lived, and that our little man is already almost 2 I guess it seems about right!

Well it has been another month and so many fun new things!

Cohen is talking like CRAZY now putting full sentences together...most of which start out small and then just add on...for example "cat is outside" "cat is outside way down there" "silly cat is outside way down there"

Cohen is still a great eater, his summer favorites like mom are all kinds of fruit, unfortunately he does not love watermelon like mom! He should due to the amount of watermelon I ate while pregnant with him! Maybe his system can't handle watermelon for that very reason

Cohen loves to go on "cat hunts" where we walk around the block looking for cats. He knows where most neighbor cats live and also knows where he has seen them in the past. So as we near a spot where a cat has been spotted in the past he will let us know he saw a cat there and what it was doing. "black cat there drinking water one time"

he is now OBSESSED with trains. we got a cheap train table at a garage sale and he'll spend all kinds of time building trains and driving them along the tracks

he sure is one cute little kiddo...looking forward to another great month!
