My busy week!!

It is official...I have FINALLY caught up on the blog!

This week Sam has been so great in watching Cohen most of the nights so I could go do some fun things.

FIRST- Girl's Night Out

my book club read Eat Pray Love a few years back so I was excited when I heard they were making it into a movie. So I rallied some of the gals and we went out to dinner and then...
went to see the movie. It was pretty good, but as I assumed the book was much better.
-
SECOND-Sipping n Painting
Brooke and I got a coupon for this painting class a while back and were finally able to use it.

You get a canvass...

some paint and some wine...

and then are instructed on a basic picture (Brooke and I opted to change it up a bit)

THIRD- Book Club

Finally, one of my book clubs is meeting tonight to discuss First They Killed My Father by Ung Loung

What a week...and in the meantime Sam and Cohen have been having great nights of chasing and playing...it is so fun to come home each night and hear from Sam what they did and what new things Cohen learned.

1st Haircut!!

We finally hit the point where Cohen needed a haircut to get the long front pieces out of his eyes. We went to a fun kid's salon where he got to sit in a little airplane. he was very serious about the haircut

and not sure about the spray bottle
it was a little sad

then it was fine, but still serious

then you start flying the plane and all is good

you even wave at people while getting your hair cut

32...woooo hooo!

Well when your birthday falls on a Sunday what else do you do than go to the BISCUIT bus?!

Grandma and grandpa came down Saturday night to watch Cohen so Sam and I could go out to dinner and to a movie so they were able to stick around and enjoy the biscuit bus as well. Sparrow and Jesse also joined us but somehow dodged pictures!
