Brunch Playdate

We had a fun brunch playdate with Brooke, Jim and Hudson.

Hudson had just gotten a new water table which Cohen thought was AMAZING

Then the boys went for a fun ride in one of Hudson's wheelbarrows

We have really enjoyed the pools in our area this summer. Cohen LOVES the water...

and LOVES to try to drink it (YUCK!!)
It is very fun when daddy takes you in the water to splash splash!

Celebrating baby Hollander

We had a girls only baby shower to celebrate the soon to be arrival of baby girl Hollander. Since finding out Crystal was pregnant in Steamboat it has been fun to help her through the process. I know she is ready for that little one to come out!

We were able to do the shower while Crystal's mom was in town. She made the baby a blanket out of scraps of all of Crystal's old prom dresses and other formal dresses, such a cool idea!
The one time that guessing a girl's waist size is acceptable.

However her mom was a BIT off since it could go around her almost twice! :)

We can't wait to meet this little one...and learn her name!!

Eating crunchies by HIMSELF!

Cohen learned to feed himself his little snacks that we call crunchiesfirst you have to grab one with chunky little fingers

then you shove all fingers toward your mouth
then you push the fat little fingers in even harder with your other hand

success! then you chew chew chew

and start all over again...

you celebrate after you pick one up and hold it tight in chunky little hands

check to make sure it is still there

then stuff it in

and get fingers out of the way of those sharp little teeth

mmmm...

one happy little eater!

Morning swing time

Cohen and I go for walks or runs each morning before he goes over to his nanny. Some mornings we have time to stop by the park to swing or play in the sand.

Game 3...FINALLY a win!

Went to the Sox game for the 3rd night and boy was this one a good game!

First Red Sox Game!!!!

Sam has been waiting to be able to take Cohen to a Red Sox game since he was born. The closest we got last year was the Red Sox bar near us...this year we got a little closer by going to a live game...however here in Colorado not in Boston. Maybe next year we'll make it to Fenway with Cohen. It was a HOT day and we knew we wouldn't last for the full game so we decided to go early to batting practice with Cohen.

he is such a wiggle worm...now that he can crawl all he wants to do is get down on the ground

Red Sox in Colorado

Other than the World Series in 2007 (which was GREAT) the Red Sox have not been in town since we have lived here, so we were very excited to get to see them.

Night 1 we went with our neighbor who has amazing seats! (Thanks Peter!!)
Youk and his bald head! (I must admit that one of the highlights of the night was when the two guys to the right of me leaned over and asked what Youk had done to fall out of favor with the fans...this has to do with the fact that when Youk comes up to bat everyone yells Yooooouuuuk but it sounds like boooo but since there were so many Red Sox fans there it was really loud and they thought he was being booed by them)

Well the game didn't turn out as we had hoped but it was a great game down to the last out.

Happy Birthday Catherine!

It was our friend Catherine's birthday (who just moved back to Denver...wooo hooo!) so we went to a really fun restaurant.
